Yes, there is a free tier. You can add a number of clips and make several complete videos without paying, and export them. Pro raises the monthly allowance of clip analyses and videos, and removes the watermark.

What does RawCut Pro cost?

Pro is a monthly subscription billed through the App Store. The current price is shown on the RawCut listing in the App Store and inside the app before you buy, in your local currency.

Through Apple, like any App Store subscription: iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then RawCut, then Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Try it properly before you pay.

RawCut is free to download and free to use for your first videos. Complete ones, exported, not a preview you cannot keep. If it does not earn a place in how you make content, you have lost nothing.

Free

Add clips, write a script, and make finished vertical videos from your own footage. Enough to see whether the cuts are any good on your camera roll, which is the only test that matters. Exported videos carry a small RawCut mark.

Pro

A monthly subscription for people posting regularly: a much larger monthly allowance of clip analyses and videos, and no watermark.

It is billed through the App Store, so it sits with your other subscriptions and cancels the same way. The current price is shown on the App Store listing and inside the app before you buy, in your own currency. That is the only place it can be authoritative, so we do not print a number here that might drift out of date.

What you are paying for

Every clip you add is analysed once so the app knows what is in it. That analysis is the expensive part, and it is also why the app gets more useful the longer you use it: the library is read once and reused by every video you make afterwards.

Cancelling

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RawCut → Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Cancelling is not the same as deleting

Cancelling stops the billing; your account and library stay as they are. If you want the account removed as well, get in touch and we will sort it out.
