Put your logo and end card on every video
A good video that nobody can trace back to you is an ad for nobody. People watch it, like it and scroll on, without knowing whose work it was or where to find you. Your name has to be in the video itself, every time.
The short answer
With RawCut Business, you set your brand up once under Settings → My brand. From then on every video you make carries your logo in place of the RawCut mark, your name on screen, captions in your color and font, and an end card with your website and a line to act on. You don't add it per video and you can't forget it.
Set it up from your own website
Type your web address and RawCut looks at your site for your logo and the font you use, and fills them in. You check what it found before anything is kept. No website, or a logo you'd rather choose yourself? Pick one from your photos. Your iPhone reads the site itself; nothing about your business goes through RawCut.
What goes on every video
- Your logo where free videos carry the RawCut mark, and if you want, as a one-second intro at the start.
- Your name in a small bar on screen.
- Your color and font for the captions, the name bar and the end card.
- An end card with your website, your handle and a line to act on, like “Order now”. Add one extra line, such as your opening days or your town.
- A QR code on the end card, if you want one. It's off by default: nobody scans the screen they're watching on, but it works on a screen in your shop window.
The name bar and end card come in two styles. Calm puts your name on a dark plate with a thin edge in your color. Bold puts it on a pill in your color, with a band of your color along the end card and heavier type.
Your own sticker
Set up one sticker for your business, then turn it on or off per video with Sticker in the editor. Most businesses pick a price, a percentage off, “This weekend only” or “New”; estate agents get “For sale”, “Sold” and “Open house”. A sticker can also show a review of your business.
Scripts in your tone
When RawCut writes a script for you, it writes it the way you talk. Tick the tones that fit: Warm, Short, Funny, Expert, Calm or Bold. The page shows an example line for each, so you can hear the difference before you choose.
When you share
Your handle and your hashtags are added to the text when you share a video, so you don't type them each time.
Try it before you pay
Fill in your brand and it shows on the preview of your own video in the editor, before you buy anything. Exporting a video with your brand needs Business: everything in Pro, plus your brand. It's a monthly App Store subscription, and the current price is shown in the app before you buy. More about Business.
Good to know
- Your brand is kept on your iPhone. It isn't stored on our servers.
- Every part can be switched off. Logo, intro and end card each have their own switch in My brand, so your videos carry as much or as little of your brand as you want.
